SkimmerPlus is a highly versatile tool for professional audio skimming and / or long-form audio logging of (up to 8) stereo audio sources. SkimmerPlus can also be used with the ASI range of multiple tuner cards.

SkimmerPlus includes its own web server so that you can listen to air checks or any other recorded audio using a standard web browser and Internet Connection from anywhere in the world. Access is password protected to keep your audio content secure.

SkimmerPlus is great for distributed organizations. With the included web interface SkimmerPlus allows you to perform air checks from any Internet-enabled computer and email those files to anyone you'd like.

SkimmerPlus can start and stop recordings based on scheduled times or by using contact closures using the easy to install trigger kit supplied with the purchase

SkimmerPlus is versatile. It can be installed with or without the optional hardware key. If you choose to have your SkimmerPlus shipped to you, we can include a hardware key with your trigger device. If you ever need to move SkimmerPlus to another computer, just take your key and code, and you're ready to go! If you prefer to just download your SkimmerPlus, that's still an option.

Recording Formats

Compressed or non-compressed WAV files in multiple compression formats, including PCM, MP2 and MP3 (Optional CODECs, available from BSI, needed for MP2 and MP3)

·       10 Mb of hard drive space to store program (and up to 10Mb per minute for audio storage)

·       PC audio card with record input

·       Microsoft Windows 2000 Pro or XP Professional (XP Pro preferred, with admin login). Note: We do not recommend using any server operating system with BSI Products as these are not designed for the demands of multimedia applications. The built-in Web Server DOES NOT require the use of Apache or Microsoft IIS, it is self-contained and secure.

·       Microsoft Windows compatible audio card
