Stinger
Instant Replay
Audio
Customer Comment: My Jox are really happy that I got the program, they are taking it like a duck to water. It is adding another dimension to their shows and also giving them the tools to step up a level. STINGER is great for disk jockeys, stadium announcers, audio production directors, theatres, presentations or anyone in an audio production environment. Combine STINGER with your audio equipped PC and you can replace thousands of dollars of proprietary hardware. STINGER is far less expensive than those "instant audio" boxes, but has much more capability and versatility. STINGER redefines "instant audio". Microsoft DirectSound support means that you can play multiple files simultaneously from a regular sound card. STINGER was designed by broadcast professionals to be a creative tool for the playback of short-length effects and other audio elements. You can have up to 288 audio cuts instantly available for playback in STINGER, each with its own on-screen description and custom-colored button. You never need to "scroll" through a tiny view window with STINGER. Thousands more audio files are quickly available with a simple click of your PC mouse. You can load files into STINGER as easily as dragging and dropping them onto the on-screen buttons. You can also save your own STINGER "collections" for instant access to your own sets of files. STINGER is touch-screen compatible or can be operated from the PC keyboard. When you resize the main screen to your preference, the buttons resize automatically. Individual cuts can be color-coded for quick recognition. STINGER's clean look makes running the system easy. Unlike other instant playback systems costing thousands of dollars, STINGER uses standard WAV files or the popular MPEG Layer 2 or MP3 format (with the right hardware or Windows Codec). With other systems, you have to take extra time to dub audio into them. STINGER uses the same audio files you create with your existing PC recording software, such as Adobe Audition®, SAW®, Pro Tools® or Cool Edit 2000 / Pro®. You can even use the same files that other BSI programs, such as WaveCart & Simian, use. And because STINGER uses Microsoft standard wave files, if your sound card can handle it, STINGER can play it. Features
Requirements:
Whilst Stinger will run on lesser configurations, we recommend using a Pentium PIV Processor, using a Motherboard with an Intel ChipSet and a Professional ASI Audio Card. We strongly suggest purchasing a multimedia configured computer directly from BSI - most off-the-shelf computers are configured for general office use. Purchasing a BSI configured computer will ensure trouble-free playback. Purchase Stinger
We strongly suggest purchasing the optional USB Hardware Dongle that will allow you to move Stinger to different computers. We will then also ship a full-color printed manual and Installation CD.
